To provide respectful occupation opportunities to the tribal youths, Frontier Corps (FC) North gave away loading rickshaws to the deserving youths of Zakha Khel,the bordering area of sun-division Landi Kotal district Khyber on Tuesday. In this connection, separate events were organized under the banners of 144 Chitral Scouts and 165 Bara Wing in Gagrina and Mushtara respectively, in Zakha Khel area of sub-division Landi Kotal. The events were attended by Lieutenant Col Haider Zaman,Lieutenant, Col Shahbaz Rasool, tribal elders and members of the civil society. During his address at the event, Col Haidar Zaman and Col Shahbaz Rasool said that the Bazaar Zakha Khel area had been terribly affected by the militancy and the COVID 19 pandemic, therefore free rickshaw loaders scheme was launched to supply working opportunities to the deserving people and the residents of the area. “Rickshaws loaders are provided to the unemployed people of Bazaar Zakah Khel to make them able to earn with respect three time meals for their families,” the forces officials remarked. They added that to remove dejection among the residents of the area, number of initiatives had been adopted including enrollment of 450 youths in FC beside distribution of free ration and setting up of free medical camps for the ailing segments of the society.
