LAHORE: 13 Pakistani prisoners will be repatriated on 2 November , the Indian government informed Pakistan High Commission in New Dehli on Wednesday.
According to Pakistan’s High Commission, four civilians and nine fishermen will be handed over to Pakistani authorities on Nov 2 via Attari- Wagah border.
Repatriates’ names are Ms Mumtaz D/o Muhammad Siddique, Ms Fatima Bibi W/o Saii Ur Rehman and her daughter Ms Hina among others.
Pakistan on October 29, handed over 68 Indian fishermen to the Indian officials at Wagah border as a good will gesture to its neighbour.
The Indian fishermen also thanked the Pakistani authorities and applauded jail’s officials to allow them to celebrate divali, a Hindu festival, in jail.
