ISLAMABAD: Japanese State Minister for Foreign Affairs H.E. Mr. Kazuyuki Nakane on Friday met Prime Minister Imran Khan and vows to build stronger ties between the both countries.
The two dignitaries discussed the bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest, said an official press release.
He also conveyed the message of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe that expressed his commitment to work closely with the newly elected government.
Possibilities for multi-faceted cooperation including cooperation in education and health sectors as well as skill enhancement of the youth were also discussed in the meeting.
The foreign dignitary also congratulated Prime Minister Imran Khan for assuming his office.
Imran also expressed the desire to work closely with Japan particularly in the areas of trade, investment, economic and human development.
He also invited Japanese premier Shinzo Abe to visit Pakistan.
