The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has invited investors who wish to acquire the rights to the sixth franchise, formerly known as Multan Sultan, of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
According to details, the PCB announced that the agreement which gave franchise rights of Multan Sultans PSL team to the Schon Group has been terminated earlier this month after the company failed to meet its financial obligations.
Following the termination of the contract, all rights of the sixth team were given back to the cricket board.
However, the documents for bidding are available from the PCB till December 14.
Interested parties have to send the technical and financial proposals to the PCB’s office in Lahore by December 18.
Furthermore, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen’s son Ali Khan Tareen has shown keen interest in buying the sixth franchise of PSL.
