Khatanas’ law chamber has recently introduced Pakistan’s first practical legal training programme. The programme is designed in a manner that enables law graduates to gain three years practical experience in just two months. Session shall commence on the 12th of November 2018 and end on the 5th of January 2019. Being delivered with the help of foreign qualified Barristers, attorneys and young accomplished CSS officer adds to the versatile feature of this programme. The specified practical legal training prerequisite is acquiring and demonstrating an appropriate understanding and competence in each element of the skills, values and practice areas such as the concept of presentation, appearance and pleading skills including legal drafting, legal research, case filing procedure, court visits, English writing/newspaper article writing, Advocacy skills/improvisational Acting, client conferencing, Communication skills, Compiling of a company’s registration book and law mooting/mock trails.
This practical legal training programme is suitable for all those who either wish to establish their law practise in Pakistan or wish to pursue Bar at law in the United Kingdom. This course is recommended to students, litigators, in house lawyers, legal secretaries, commercial managers, politicians, contract managers and anyone who must draft, amend or update contracts, legal letters and conduct corporate sector conferences. It mainly endeavours to help them establish their careers in Pakistan and develop their practical day to day skills.
