KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Information Advisor Moula Bux Chandio, on Wednesday alleged that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government has failed to perform in the province.
The situation of KPK has deteriorated, while Imran Khan and his party are politicising ‘non issues’ and directing the public’s attention towards falsely created issues, he said.
Chandio added that the PTI must direct its attention towards development and work on improving the education, law and order and health sectors in KPK because the books issued by government schools were being sold in the scrap market, said Chandio.
Regarding the rangers extension, Chandio remarked that some politicians were trying to create issues related to the matter of rangers extension, adding that the Sindh government had always appreciated the joint performance of the police and rangers in restoring the law and order situation in Karachi.
The advisor said that the matter of extension regarding the rangers’ special powers should not be misinterpreted and there is no dispute brimming between the force and the provincial government.
It is purely a state function and also directly linked with peace in Karachi, he said, adding that the masses of Sindh are finally comfortable due to the restoration of law and order in Karachi.
The rangers and police have eradicated the sense of fear and terrorism and brought back tranquillity in the buzzing city, he pointed out.
