KARACHI: A police officer was injured during an encounter on Sunday night here in the metropolis’ North Nazimabad area while one dacoit was also arrested, authorities reported.

Authorities informed that the injured officer was identified as Tahir.
During the encounter, on the other hand, two of the arrested dacoit’s managed to flee near Asghar Ali Shah Cricket Stadium. However, one was apprehended who is identified as Shahid.

According to the police, weapons, jewellery, cash, and a motorcycle were recovered from the arrested dacoit.
